Trips and Dates
Our drift boat trips on the Rogue begin at Alameda boat landing, just
two miles outside of Galice and conclude four days later in Agness.
The three nights are at picturesque lodges: Black Bar, Marial and Illahe,
where the dining and accomodations are excellent. The lodges serve
delicious family-style dinners and breakfasts, and prepare lunches
for the following day on the river. Also, your morning's catch is prepared
with lunch on the river bank each afternoon. The freshly caught and
grilled steelhead is a memorable highlight of every trip.

Tackle and Licenses:
You may bring your own tackle
but we also provide it on our trips. You'll experience both spin-casting and
fly fishing, utilizing the famous Rogue River Twitch. Fishing Licenses
are required and may be purchased on the way to the launch site.
Reservations:
Reservations for the trip are required and need to be made well in advance
due to the limited number of federal permits allowed for this river. Occasionally,
we can accomodate trips made on short notice. Please feel free to contact
us no matter what the time of year and we will make every effort to make
your trip a reality.
Note: We are limited by federal permit to
the number of guests we can guide down the river each year so reservations
are required. We recommend that you make your reservations at least 6 months
in advance.
Transportation:
Clients need to provide their own transportation to and from the river.
Low cost shuttle services are available for this and for transportation
to and from the Medford Airport. If you are driving you may choose
to have your car brought around to the take-out at Agness by the
shuttle service. The service is very reliable and the cost is minimal
- aproxmately $65. Please have a full tank of gas when you leave
your car with the shuttle driver and it is recommended that you bring
an extra set of car keys. Please advise us of your needs in advance
and we will help you to make the necessary arrangements. For driving
directions click here.
Guides:
All of our guides are experienced anglers and teachers, and have years
of experience fishing the Rogue. Their goal is to not only get you
down the river, but to also provide you with a personalized and unique
experience. On our trips, our guides welcome all ability levels from
the most seasoned angler to someone who has never fished before.
Our guides supply all of the tackle necessary. If you wish to bring
your own, we suggest a 8 to 9 foot, number 6 rod, medium sink tip or
floating line with 9 foot leader tapered to 6lbs. Trip Dates:

runs from August to November.
