What does it take to define Oregon's Rogue River and it's fisheries? Zane Grey spent thirty years trying to do just that. For us here at Rogue Canyon Outfitters, it's almost impossible to do. The waters off the Rogue River course a realm beyond words. This river is enriched in ways no other in the western United States can parallel. From the sounds of the passing river to the views of the lush banks and the entrancing canyons powering above, the Rogue River in Oregon offers the finest sights, sounds and fishing experience unequal to any other in the Pacific Northwest.

a unique and different kind of vacation for the whole family
About Oregon's Rogue Canyon Outfitters
Oregon native and Rogue Canyon Outfitter owner Todd Weck continues the tradition of providing guests with an experience that they will never forget! Rogue Canyon Outfitters was founded nearly 60 years ago by Hall of Fame Fisherman Kenny King, and holds one of the oldest operating permits on the river. Over the years, Rogue Canyon Outfitters has led over 10,000 customers to hot steelhead waters and safely through the rapids in-between. This 50 mile boat trip traverses a scenic and secluded stretch of the Rogue
River. This particular stretch was designated as a "Wild and Scenic River" by
Congress in 1968, and therefore has only hiking trails and limited road access
near the beginning and end of the trip.

Fish Oregon All Year Round
The Rogue Canyon Float season extends annually between late August
and mid-November, and the fishing is generally excellent throughout the season. Our
quarry is the famous Rogue River "half-pounder" - these are steelhead ranging
from 14" to 24", with some larger fish to ten pounds. They are among North
America's premier game fish. Some salmon are also caught throughout the season.
Winter Steelhead Trips in the Rogue Canyon are being put together. Give us a call!
